I retain the copyright to all my images. However, you are welcome to purchase individual images either in print form or as a canvas, acrylic or aluminium wall art. Alternatively you can purchase the complete set of edited images on a disc. I will provide you with the print right to the images which means you will be able to take the images to any print lab to have them reproduced however you like, for example as a canvas, on a coffee mug or in an album. You are not permitted to enter the pictures into any competitions, or to sell them onto third parties such as stock libraries.
I offer a range of products ranging from mounted prints to canvases and acrylic wall art. Products are available in a variety of sizes, please see my pricing page for further information. What you wear is generally dependant on what type of photo session you want to have. In case you’re stuck for ideas, here are a few suggestions: So you’ve booked your session, now what? Time to pick out your wardrobe! We get ourselves dressed every day but when it comes to deciding what to wear for a photo session, why does it always seem so complicated? It doesn’t have to be. Here are a few tips to help you decide:
  1. Co-ordinate but don’t match.
  2. Keep true to your style
  3. Layers look great in photos and are a quick and easy way to vary images
  4. Bare feet look much nicer in photographs so it’s an idea to make sure your nails are looking nice.
  5. Pick a colour palette – If you like pastel colours go for baby blues, pale pinks, browns and beiges. Or if you prefer bright colours go for purples, reds, greens and yellows.
  6. Remember some poses might involve you sitting on a chair, or laying on the floor so consider wearing trousers or knee length skirts.
  7. Try to avoid clothing with large logos or writing.
  8. Accessories to show your personality.
  9. Most importantly – remember to smile and have fun!
Pick your colour palette. This alone will be the most difficult part of your wardrobe decision. You can do this a few different ways but the basic principle is to choose three colours and work from there. Consider where you might want to display your photos; if you plan to have a canvas in your living room, see if you can incorporate the colours in the room with the colour of your chosen clothes. If you aren’t sure where your images will go, pick a piece of clothing that you love and work around it. For example your daughter might have a beautiful blue and yellow print dress so work everyone else’s colours around that. You can mix and match prints and solid colours. Not everyone has to wear exactly the same shade of colour. If you decide to use blue as your colour scheme then combine different shades and hues such as sky blue, navy blue, pastel blue etc. Allow everyone to still be themselves and show their personality but continue to still coordinate. Dress for the season and for the appropriate age but continue to layer. Don’t forget the accessories!
