Deciding to book a photography session is a big decision – every photographer offers something a little bit different and you want to be sure of what your will be receiving when you book your photo session. Below is a list of frequently asked questions to help explain exactly what to expect when you book a photo session with me.

What type of photo sessions do you offer?

I specialise in newborn photography and pet photography. However I also offer toddler photo sessions including cake smash sessions, family photography and maternity photography.

Where are you based?

I have a home studio in Mayland, Chelmsford, Essex where I hold all of my studio sessions. I also offer outdoor photo sessions all across Essex and the South East area.

How much do you charge?

The cost of your session depends on what type of photo session you book. Please see the session pricing page for more details.

The session fee is payable at the time of booking to secure your session date and is non-refundable. One 8x6" mounted portrait is included in your session fee - no other products are included. You will be able to purchase additional products such as digital files and wall art at your photo reveal.

How long will my photo session last?

I don't believe in putting a fixed time limit on your photo session, I want you to feel relaxed and enjoy yourself without having to keep an eye on the time. This is the reason why I only book one client session per day so my time and attention is completely dedicated to you. As a guide, most photo sessions last between 1-2 hours with the exception of newborn sessions which last around 4 hours.

What happens if I'm sick on the day of my photo session?

Illness is one of those things that affects us all. If you are sick on the day of your session then it can be rearranged for another day. All I ask is that you let me know as soon as possible and then we can find another suitable date for you to have your photo session. A cancellation fee may apply if less that 72 hours notice is given.

How long after my session will I be able to see the photos?

Approximately 2 weeks after your photo session, your images will be fully edited and ready for you to view. You will be invited back to the studio for your photo reveal - a viewing and ordering session where you will see your images for the first time. There will be a personalised slideshow showcasing your beautiful portraits and each of your images will be printed out for you to look through and decide your favourites.

All of the products I offer will be on display for you to look and, touch and feel so you can decide how you would like to display your portraits. Once you have confirmed your order, your products will be ready for you after approximately 4 weeks and will be delivered to your door for you to enjoy for years to come.
